Welcome to the official website for Sherwood Dance!
The Dance program at Sherwood Secondary has been running for the past 10 years and classes incorporate training in jazz, hip hop, contemporary, ballet, stepping, bellydance, salsa and much more. Dance classes include warm up and strength components as well as instruction in technique. Students will enjoy workshops by various guest instructors. Past instructors have included Tiffany Beveridge, Amy Adams, Robin DeDannan and Dustin Pym.
Students interested in the dance program can take Grade 10 and Grade 11 Dance. Students wishing to continue in dance in grade 12 might consider enrolling in the Peer Tutor program, where they can help to lead dance classes and share in the choreography process.
